For cheap short term stays, use air bnb, or look up 'hack n sleep'. No deposit, expect to share a room. People you'll find there are like the TV shows 'silicon valley' meets 'the big bang theory'. Generally a great bunch, but 85% guys.
don't step on the brown spots on the sidewalk. It is what you hope it isn't.
One thing we love about flying out of San Francisco International Airport is that it is the most wired airport that we have flown in and out of, and we are glad that it’s our home airport. You will find power outlets at almost every seat at every terminal, and FREE Wi-Fi too. How can you beat that? But we also get spoiled when we are at other airports and they don’t have enough outlets.
Peet’s is one of our favorite coffee shops. Not only do they have great coffees, beverages and pastries, but they also have FREE Wi-Fi!
A nice bar cum coffee shop with good WiFi. A laptop friendly cafe where you can get some work done. There are plenty of power outlets on the first floor. One of the nicer WiFi cafes in San Francisco.
